Owners Douglas & Sue Bryan are on a mission to de-bunk the myths you probably believe about how the financial aid process works. In their free workshop you'll get the truth that you won't hear from financial advisors and certainly not from colleges.
If you've ever heard the name Douglas Bryan before, then you're going to associate it with photography. For over 20 years Doug owned Douglas Bryan Photography on Main Street in Grand Prairie. In January, 2009 he and Sue opened College Planning DFW. Due to the rapid growth of this company, he just recently closed his doors at the studio and now devotes all of his energy to helping families save THOUSANDS on college. During his free workshop, he'll relate the story of how became interested in the topic of college planning and eventually opened this business. (You'll find out that there's over 18 years experience behind this business!) This free workshop includes SOLID information delivered in a lively and entertaining way. If you're like most attendees, this will be the most productive hour you've spent planning for your kid's college. If you're "skeptical" as to the value of anything that's "FREE", Doug really wants you to attend. You'll be surprised by the ROCK SOLID information you receive. You'll leave the workshop with the tools you need to literally save THOUSANDS on college. However, if you don't think you'll have the 80-120 hours necessary to do all of the work yourself, Doug and Sue do accept a few* private clients that they will help navigate the financial aid process for as well as working with their student to insure that they are focused on a degree and field of interest before getting to college. (Having a student who doesn't know what they want to do - or changes their mind - can easily add $10-$40K to your college expenses.) Sue's ability to work with your student and getting them to do things that you as the parent can't, is really remarkable. The kids really enjoy Sue and the online software that helps them pick a career, a major and the best school for their needs. In turn, Doug works with the parents. He shows clients how to drastically lower their out-of-pocket expenses and oftentimes how they actually can afford college without relying student or parent loans. Many times this can be done REGARDLESS of your income. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you know the rules of the game. (Doug will point you to the rules during his workshop.) *Due to the amount of work involved, they cannot accept more than 8 clients a month. Every year there are thousands in the DFW area with kids going to college. They can't personally help everyone. That's why they offer the free workshops. If you haven't already done so, go now to sign up for an upcoming workshop! |
